Love love the food! Ordered whipped feta and pork and beef meatballs as appetizers! Highly recommend ! Excellent service. Staff energetic and friendly. Jenna was our server and she was great! Love the merchandise in the store too! Wanted to buy everything !!!

Our favorite breakfast spot on vacation in Bala. It's so cute, modern, and absolutely stunning inside and out aesthetically. The best part is you can arrive on a kayak or jet ski and park on the dock, and eat on the dock. The food was decent too and they have board games for the kids.

Dinner at Jack & Stella’s – A New Favourite! We’ve loved Jack & Stella’s from the very beginning—it’s been our go-to spot for coffee, breakfast, and lunch since the day they opened. But tonight was our first time staying for dinner, and it was absolutely outstanding. We arrived by Jet Ski, tied off, and were seated at a perfect dockside table—a true summer experience. The bruschetta and meatballs were bursting with flavour, and the spicy rigatoni with peas was a total standout. Paired with chilled Prosecco, warm service, and one of the best sunsets of the season, the evening was unforgettable. Huge thanks to the entire staff that night—all three servers greeted us and made sure we were enjoying every moment. Special thanks to Liv for the thoughtful and friendly service. And kudos to Chef Matt for crafting such a memorable meal. We can’t wait to come back!

Looks rather plain from the front, with everything white, and it’s hard to appreciate that they’re a cafe, as you can’t even see an espresso machine from in front of the counter. However, although their lemon poppyseed loaf has to be the smallest I’ve ever experienced, it is quite good in both flavour and moisture. The espresso was also better than expected. When asked, they informed me that they use Faema beans. However, you most certainly pay for it, as both of these came to just under $10. The aspect of this experience that makes it worthwhile, is when you sit in their backyard which backs onto a long dock on lake Muskoka, that they have some tables positioned on. It’s a very different experience from anything that you may be familiar with from a city, and exactly what more restaurants/cafes should focus on up here .

I frequent Jack and Stella all summer. I get Coffee in the morning and have attended some yoga classes! I also have had lunch on the dock which is delicious and lovely. Dinner is always so nice and the food is excellent. Staff are wonderful, friendly and very attentive. Such a fun and warm atmosphere. I always buy hostess gifts in the store, so many beautiful items! Stella Closet is always a highlight for me with many beautiful finds! Staff are So fun and helpful when assisting you! Jack and Stella is one of my favorite places in Muskoka!

Nice place to have much, good selection of sandwiches, SMOOTHIES! and such. Not much for my husband who doesn't like sandwiches and wraps though. Offers upstairs room with a nice view of the water as well as seating in the patio and dock. There was love music outside too. Also is a kitchen store and has some Muskoka apparel to sell. Very nice experience.

Stopped here on a day trip through Muskoka and loved it! The smoothie was super fresh and tasty, and the grilled cheese was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The spot right by the lake makes it even better really nice to sit outside, enjoy the views, and just relax. Great place to check out if you’re in the area!

Stopped by here with a couple friends of ours after staying nearby for a mid-week trip. Of all the great things I can't say about this place (food was super fresh, good portions, nice coffee), my favourite thing would have to be the back patio and the concept that they did with turning the long dock into a seating area with tables and chairs and umbrellas. Creative way to use space, smart thinking on management/owner. Will be back again.
